The Columbia Ambulance was designed by Emergency Medical Technicians
(EMT's) to meet the trauma needs of the injured patient during a
medical emergency. Many practical and necessary features, such as
access to the patient's chest cavity from the attendants seat
enroute, are integrated for safe and comfortable transport. The
Columbia Ambulance is built to accommodate a standard ambulance cot
so patients remain immobilized all the way to the hospital.
